Review: 2023 Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited Skis

Feb 12, 2023, 4:01 PM EST

Welcome to the Buyers Guide section of bigwheelblading.com, which provides everything you need to make informed purchases online. Many ski options are available, but researching and finding the ones that meet your needs can be overwhelming. I am an avid East Coast skier living in Vermont who calls Burke Mountain their home. The goal of these reviews is to share my knowledge and experience to save you time and frustration.

Nordica Enforcer 94 UnlimiteD Review

A variation of the wildly popular Enforcer series, the Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited is the ultimate ski for enjoying all aspects of the resort. The Unlimited has the same turn radius, shape, and rocker profiles in the tips and tails that people have come to love in the Enforcer. They are light enough to tour efficiently yet still have excellent power transfer when going edge to edge on the groomers, thanks to the underfoot camber of the All Mountain Rocker profile. The profile and rockered front allow them to be extraordinarily playful and agile in the bumps, in the trees, and while floating on fresh powder.

Nordica Enforcer 94 UnlimiteD Review
Lightweight but solid

With its carbon-reinforced wood core, you’d think the ski would chatter in the tips at high speeds, but that isn’t the case. For most skiers, the Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited will feel as solid as their beefier counterparts offering outstanding response while effortlessly holding your line. The lightweight construction of the Enforcer Unlimited makes it easy to maneuver and maximizes efficiency when touring without compromising performance on the descent.

I was most surprised at how well these cut through hardpack and ice, and I almost felt as good and confident in those conditions as I did on groomers. They perform so well on perfectly groomed trails, hardpack, and even scratchy frozen granular that you’ll spend all day playing with various turn shapes and speeds. It is a lightweight, versatile ski that carves well, making it the perfect addition to your quiver. The Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited far exceeded my expectations, and it is easily a solid choice for anyone on the East Coast looking for a one-quiver ski.

What is the difference between the Nordica Enforcer 94 and the Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited?

The standard Nordica Enforcer uses two sheets of metal and one of carbon in its construction. The Unlimited series uses two sheets of carbon and no metal, making it 25% lighter yet providing similar performance, grip, and energy transfer. The Unlimited 94 in 186 lengths weighs 1540 grams ( 3.9 pounds), while the standard Enforcer weighs 2118 grams (4.7 pounds). Skiers who like the shape and profile of the Enforcer but desire a lighter ski will love the Unlimited series. The only difference visually between the two is that the Unlimited has a skin notch at the end of the tail for attaching climbing skins too.

What Bindings Should I use on the Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited?

We recommend mounting them with Marker Kingpin 13 Tour Ski Bindings for resort touring. If touring is not your thing and you are just looking for an excellent lightweight ski for the groomers, we suggest pairing them with Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings.
