For Episode 17 of the Then And Now Blading Podcast, I speak to Fritz Peitzner, Owner of Carriers Skate Shop and Dallas Blading Legend. The interview is broken into two separate videos. In part 1, we discuss Fritz’s skating history, growing up skating at Eisenberg’s Skatepark, the Dallas scene, skating in competitions, and his travels around Europe and South America with his friend Josh Glowicki. For part 2, we talk about big wheel blading, his skate shop Carriers, and the severe head injury he received from his fall during the Pow Wow competition at the beginning of Covid. Fritz details what happened, his recovery, wearing helmets, and the effects of the injury on him
